House of HelixWebsite design
& creative production.
Website design and development for House of Helix, with creative preproduction and a production workflow developed alongside the brand.

01 / The website
The House of Helix
web experience.
House of Helix needed a web presence with a distinct point of view. My work brought together website design, front-end implementation, and creative direction, using a restrained editorial approach to organize a research-focused brand.
Visual language
The website pairs the purple House of Helix identity with warm neutral backgrounds, a subtle helix motif, and clear typographic hierarchy.
Collection experience
The live collection organizes entries by compound or formulation name, House reference, classification, and format, with expandable details for further reading.
The work presented here concerns the brand and digital experience. House of Helix positions its materials for qualified laboratory research only, with explicit limits on human and veterinary use.
02 / Behind the work
Define what to make.
Then shape how it gets made.
Alongside the website, I developed creative tools and a production workflow to carry intent from early exploration into implementation. The core distinction is simple: preproduction defines what should be made; the production harness helps control how it gets made.
- 01 / PREPRODUCTION
Establish the direction
Bring together the brief, references, typography, color, composition, and technical requirements.
- 02 / HANDOFF
Make decisions usable
Carry the chosen direction, approved inputs, constraints, and rationale into structured production data.
- 03 / PRODUCTION
Build with consistency
Apply reusable rules, validate the output, and keep a human review step before accepting the result.
Creative Preproduction Harness
A public, local CLI for briefs, research, alternative directions, visual language, versioned feedback, and explicit approvals before implementation.
Creative production workflow
A developing system for carrying approved inputs into Blender work through reusable camera, lighting, composition, naming, and presentation rules, followed by validation and human review.
The production workflow above describes the system I am refining. The public repository linked here documents the preproduction tool; it does not provide an automated Blender production integration.
03 / My contribution
Design and the process
behind it.
- WebsiteDesign and development of the House of Helix web experience.
- PreproductionCreative briefs, references, direction exploration, visual language, and implementation handoff.
- Creative toolingA local preproduction harness that records versions, feedback, rationale, and named human decisions.
- ProductionDevelopment of reusable rules and a review-led workflow for consistent creative output.
